Davis Farmland Aug. 6, 2017

Come celebrate summer with Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome (D.A.D.S.) on Sunday, August 6, as we head to Davis Farmland (145 Redstone Hill, Sterling, Ma.) at 9:30am. Cost per person is $12.50 (under age 2 is free, and is non-refundable, unless we have to reschedule). Please contact Jeff Roback at dadsmass@yahoo.com to reserve your spots. Payment will not be accepted on the day of the event. Please indicate age(s) of children when you register.
At the Animal Showcase pet, cuddle, and feed a large collection of endangered and not so endangered livestock breeds. Take a Safari Hayride out to the back pastures to meet their largest animals. Be junior farmers by helping the farmer’s milk a goat, collect chicken eggs, bottle feed the babies, and groom the animals. Enjoy New England’s largest, zero depth, water spray ground. Children can get creative as they interact with every kind of mister, sprinkler and geyser imaginable. Cool off under the water tower or giant sunflowers, the kiddy car wash, the slip & slide, and get bubbly in the bubble blast! Visit Adventure Land and dig for Dino bones, build a cabin, scale the peak of their climber or take a spin on the pedal carts and explore age appropriate play structures. Food is not included with the price but is available for purchase (you may bring in food, they have sheltered picnic tables).
